Anton Hauber

Anton Hauber (born November 14, 1879 in Ellwangen , † June 9, 1917 in Berlin ) was a German historian and orientalist .

After attending grammar school in Ehingen an der Donau, he studied in Tübingen and Munich. He received his doctorate in Munich on the position of the orders and donors of the Diocese of Constance in the battle between Ludwig the Bavarian and the Curia. In 1908 he became a research assistant at the University Library of Tübingen . During the First World War, he succumbed to cell tissue inflammation after an insect bite.

Hauber's scientific interests were in the history and cultural history of the Middle Ages. In addition to important articles, he presented the two-volume document book of the Heiligkreuztal monastery and a monograph on the planet children.
