Anton Philipp Berg
Anton Philipp Berg (born August 6, 1795 in Frankfurt am Main , † September 3, 1866 in Pest ) was a German singer ( baritone ) and stage actor .
Life
He began his stage career in Bamberg in 1816, and one of his most important places of work are Munich, Cologne, Freiburg and Pest (1833–1866). Most recently it was paternal roles such as “Head Forester” in “Jäger”, “Borotin”, “Musikus Müller” etc., in which he achieved lasting success.
His daughter was Marie Berg .
