Anton Rausch (painter)
Anton Rausch (born June 12, 1882 in Fladungen / Rhön ; † March 11, 1939 in Munich ) was a German painter and etcher .
Anton Rausch began his painting lessons at the Nuremberg School of Applied Arts and continued to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich from November 13, 1903, first with Martin von Feuerstein , later etching with Peter Halm and painting with Wilhelm von Diez .
Rausch's works showed the influence of the German Renaissance masters, especially Dürer and Cranach. He mainly created works of religious content.
Rausch worked in Munich.
