Anton Reckziegel (born July 27, 1865 in Gablonz , Bohemia; † October 20, 1936 in Mödling , Lower Austria) was a artist .

Life

Anton Reckziegel trained as a landscape painter in Gablonz and at the Graz Academy and then worked as a cartographer in Vienna for two years . From 1892 he worked in Switzerland , where he first worked for a poster company in Aarau and then for a printing company in Bern . Reckziegel's posters “dominated the Swiss tourism poster for ten years”. In 1912 he returned to Mödling and continued to work as a landscape painter.
