Anton Spielmann

Anton Spielmann (born November 12, 1989 ) is a German musician. He is the singer and guitarist of the German punk band 1000 Robota . 

Life

When he was 3 years old, Spielmann came to Germany from Russia with his parents. He grew up in Lower Saxony . At the age of 16 he formed his band 1000 Robota . His band's first album was released in 2008 on Wallpaper Records . The second album was released in 2010 on Buback Tonträger . Spielmann is published by Universal Music Publishing . 

In 2012 Spielmann worked with the Swiss theater group 400asa on the play: Flow / Wasser. It was performed in the Sophiensæle as well as in the Basel barracks and in the Rote Fabrik in Zurich . In 2012 he and his band composed the music for the stage version of So Was von da , for the German Schauspielhaus Hamburg .

René Pollesch used the title “He says” and named one of his plays “Throw your ego away” after the title of the band 1000 Robota .

In the 2014/2015 season he composed the music for The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet together with Anja Plaschg for the  Thalia Theater Hamburg , the  Zürcher Schauspielhaus , the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden and the Pfalzbau in Ludwigshafen .

In 2015 Spielmann composed the music for Antigone at the Burgtheater Vienna together with Anja Plaschg , and in 2015 at the Thalia Theater Hamburg the music for Kasimir and Karoline .

In 2015, Spielmann took fourth place in the “Best Dressed” list of GQ Magazine.

In 2017 Spielmann worked with Anja Plaschg on the film music for Sicilian Ghost Story, a film by the Italian duo Fabio Grassadonia & Antonio Piazza
