Dakota Blackhorse by Jess (born March 19, 1986 ) is an American cross-country skier .

Career

Blackhorse von Jess started in West Yellowstone for the first time in the Nor-Am-Cup in November 2004 and came in 54th place over 13 km freestyle. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2005 in Rovaniemi , he came 29th in the sprint. In January 2009 he ran his first race in the World Cup in Vancouver , which he finished in 34th place in the sprint. In January 2012 he reached his first podium in the US Super Tour with third place in the sprint in Rumford . The following year he became the American sprint champion at Midway . In the 2014/15 season he took four wins on the US Super Tour. In addition, he once achieved third place and thus finished third in the overall ranking of the US Super Tour. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun he came in 30th place in the sprint. In the following season he won third, second and first place on the US Super Tour and reached 13th place in the overall standings.
