Anton Sturm (painter)
Anton Sturm (* 1686 in Augsburg ; † April 16, 1752 (day of the funeral) in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German painter, draftsman and hair dealer.
Before 1720 Sturm worked in Rome for several years, where he a. a. made drawings of the statues in St. He then created pictures of historical events and portraits. In 1720 he settled in Frankfurt am Main, where, in addition to his artistic activities, he ran a hair trade.
