Antonella Scanavino

Antonella Scanavino , full name Antonella Scanavino Crespo , (born October 30, 1992 in Maldonado ) is a Uruguayan swimmer .

The 1.66 meter tall Scanavino, for which a competition weight of 60 kg is recorded, is the daughter of Olympian Carlos Scanavino , who competed in the swimming competitions of the 1984 and 1988 Games. Antonella Scanavino represented her home country at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro . She was also a member of the Uruguayan squad at the 2008 Olympic Games . In Beijing she started over the 100 meter butterfly distance and finished 48th in the final ranking. She was also part of the Uruguayan team at the 2010 South American Games in Medellín . Scanavino belongs to the Campus de Maldonado club but moved to Belem in Brazil in preparation for the 2011 Pan American Games and the 2012 Olympic Games because of the better training conditions there to train at the TUNA club .
