Antonello De Leo

Antonello De Leo (* 1965 in Bari ) is an Italian film director .

Life

De Leo graduated from the “Discipline delle Arti, della Musica e dello Spettacolo” ( DAMS ) in Bologna and started making short films in 1995. In 1997 his film Senza parole was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Short Film category and was awarded the David di Donatello . In 1997 he wrote the television series Il mastino ; In 2000 he made his debut as a director in the feature film sector with La vespa e la regina , which was warmly received by the critics.

He then made the television series Via Zanardi, 33 .
