Antonia Leugers

Antonia Leugers (* 1956 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian, church historian and religious educator .

Antonia Leugers was born in Emsland . She passed the Abitur in Braunschweig and studied at the universities of Munich , Münster and Paderborn . With her dissertation Georg Angermaier (1913–1945): Catholic lawyer between the National Socialist regime and the Church. Life picture and diaries she did her doctorate in Münster . From 2007 to 2008, she worked at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen as a research assistant in the Collaborative Research Center on War Experiences - War and Society in Modern Times . At the Technical University of Dresden she worked as part of an interdisciplinary research project of the German Research Association on historical educational research.

Since 2010 she has been working at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen on the project she conceived of Catholic War Peace Discourses (1914 / 1918–1939 / 1945) .

In her publications she deals with a. with the Catholics in the resistance against National Socialism . She lives in Munich.
