Antonio Gómez (boxer)
Antonio Gómez (* 7. September 1945 in Cumana , Venezuela ) is a former Venezuelan boxer in the featherweight . He was managed by Ramiro Machado .

On February 28, 1967, he successfully made his professional debut. In September 1971 he became world champion of the WBA when he defeated the Japanese Shōzō Saijō by classic knockout in round 5. In the following year he defended this belt against Raul Martinez Mora and lost it to Ernesto Marcel . In 1975 he ended his career.
