David Bustos
David Bustos ( David Bustos González; born August 25, 1990 in Palma ) is a Spanish middle-distance runner .
In 2009 in Novi Sad he became Junior European Champion over 1500 m . In 2010 she reached the semi-finals over 800 m at the World Indoor Championships in Doha and at the European Championships in Barcelona and won the Ibero-American Championships over 1500 m. In 2011 he reached the semi-finals over 800 m at the European Indoor Championships in Paris and won bronze at the U23 European Championships in Ostrava . The following year he failed at the World Indoor Championships in 2012 in Istanbul over 1500 m in the lead. Over the same distance, a bronze medal at the European Championships in Helsinki was followed by a preliminary round at the Olympic Games in London .
In 2013 he was eighth over 1500 m at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg and was eliminated in the preliminary stages at the World Championships in Moscow . At the European Championships 2014 in Zurich he finished sixth at the World Championships in 2015 in Beijing , he reached the semifinals. At the European Championships in Amsterdam in 2016 he won the silver medal and at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro he finished seventh.
Over 1500 m was Spanish champion in 2012 and 2013 and Spanish indoor champion in 2013.
