Antonio Guerra (choreographer)
Antonio Guerra (born December 30, 1810 in Naples , † July 20, 1846 in Neuwaldegg near Vienna) was an Italian ballet master and choreographer .
Life
Little is known about the life of Antonio Guerra. In the years 1826, 1827 and 1841–1846 he held the position of ballet master at the Kärntnertortheater in Vienna. In 1840 he stayed in London, where he choreographed the ballets Le Lac des Fées (music by Daniel-François-Esprit Auber ) and Le Toréador at Her Majesty's Theater . He was one of the most famous choreographers of his time.
