Antonio Iovine (born September 20, 1964 in San Cipriano d'Aversa , Province of Caserta ) is an Italian member of the Camorra and one of the leaders of the Casalesi clan from Casal di Principe . His nickname is "o'ninno" ( the baby ) because of the child's face he had when he became the head of the criminal group at a very early age. He was sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment on June 19, 2008 .

From 1996 until his arrest on November 17, 2010, the Italian Ministry of the Interior placed him on the list of the most wanted, among other things for murder. An international arrest warrant was issued on August 10, 1999.

Iovine is referred to as the "waste minister" of the Camorra. According to journalist, writer and mafia expert Roberto Saviano , the organization in Campania controls the entire waste management sector with an estimated annual turnover of 880 million US dollars.

After completing the ten-year Processo Spartacus ( Spartacus Trial ), he was sentenced to life imprisonment on June 19, 2008 along with 35 other members of the Casalesi clan for murder and other offenses in absentia. Together with Michele Zagaria , who was arrested at the end of 2011 , the court saw him as a leader of the clan. The judgment was upheld on January 15, 2010 by the Supreme Court of Cassation in Rome.

After fleeing for 14 years, he was caught on November 17, 2010 in a house in Casal di Principe.
