Antonio Koudele

Antonio Koudele (born March 26, 1956 in Vienna ) is an Austrian jazz guitarist who has also emerged in the field of Latin American music and classical music.

Koudele comes from a musical family; his grandfather was a violin maker . After an early musical education, he turned to the guitar at the age of seven. From 1975 to 1982 he studied at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich ; During this time he also played in American clubs. He then worked in Munich as a studio musician and also participated in musical productions such as Hair and Evita . In 1980 he founded his band Fresh Air , with which he recorded two LPs; the second album International Men was included in the international best list in February 1984. He also played classical concerts and was involved in recordings with various orchestras under conductors such as Neville Marriner , Colin Davis and Lalo Schifrin . In 1988 he founded the Groupo de Bossa Nova. He presented various albums in which he merged influences from classical, jazz, pop and rock music .
