Antonio Luisi (born October 7, 1994 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg football player .

Career

Luisi played for Racing FC Union Luxemburg throughout his youth and was among other things champions and cup winners with the U-17 team of the Luxemburgish club in 2010. On February 25, 2012, at the age of 17, he made his racing debut in the BGL Ligue . After another season he moved to FC Differdingen 03 in the summer of 2013 , with whom he won the Luxembourg Football Cup in 2014 and 2015 . For the 2017/18 season he made a free transfer to the champions and cup winners F91 Dudelange . Here he won the championship , but after only seven appearances, he moved on to Jeunesse Esch in summer 2018 .

For FC Differdingen 03 he played a total of 11 games (0 goals) in the Europa League qualification.

Luisi has been playing for Jeunesse Esch since the 18/19 season . He was loaned there after not being used much at Dudelange. But after a strong first half of the season with nine goals in eleven games this season, the striker seriously injured his knee in a test match during the winter break and was out for around nine months.

National team

After various selection games in the youth, Luisi came on August 14, 2013 for the first time in the friendly against Lithuania (2-1) for the Luxembourg national team. He played a total of six games until his last nomination for the time being in September 2014. Luisi was predicted to have a great career after his appearance against Portugal in 2013. A number of scouts were interested in the young player, who however decided to continue his career in Luxembourg.
