Antonio Musu

Antonio Musu (born May 14, 1916 in Naples , † October 1979 in Pisa ) was an Italian film producer and film director .

Musu first worked in the film business in 1944 when he worked as an assistant for Giuseppe Maria Scotese ; from 1948 he was responsible for a number of films as production manager and producer, whereby he was picky; Among the more important, in the name of the law by Pietro Germi and Gillo Pontecorvo's work, Kapo and the Battle of Algiers . As a director, he shot short films only twice for the screen in 1955 and 1958, bringing together two greats of the time in one film for Totò and Marcellino . Since 1943 he was married to the actress Marisa Salinas .
