Antonio Seguí [se'ɣi] (born January 11, 1934 in Córdoba ) is an Argentine painter and graphic artist .

Life

Seguí comes from a middle-class family and has three younger siblings. He traveled through Europe and Africa between 1951 and 1954. As a student, he assisted at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid and at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris, where he learned painting and sculpture . After returning to his hometown, he wrote articles for Orientación magazine as a member of the editorial board . The first solo exhibition in Argentina followed in 1957. He traveled through South and Central America and learned the graphic arts craft in Mexico. In 1961 he returned to Argentina and in 1963 went to Paris, where he works and lives today. He has already presented his works to an international audience in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
