Antony C. Sutton

Antony Cyril Sutton ( February 14, 1925 - June 17, 2002 ) was a British economist, historian and writer.

Sutton studied at the Universities of London, Göttingen and California and received his D.Sc. Degree from the University of Southampton , England. He was an economics professor at California State University, Los Angeles and a research fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University from 1968 to 1973.

Sutton's works deal primarily with generally unknown trade and financial relationships between the American business elite ("Wall Street") and states and institutions that were their declared opponents. These include Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution , Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler, and Wall Street and FDR . In particular, Sutton made the Hegelian- inspired conceptions of the Yale University- domiciled association Skull and Bones responsible for this phenomenon. He considered the book America's Secret Establishment: An Introduction to the Order of Skull and Bones , which deals with this, to be his most important.
