history
Anundsjö IF was founded on July 21, 1921. For a long time, the football team only played lower class, and in the 1970s they were promoted to the fourth division. After she was promoted to third division for the first time in 1980, she immediately established herself in the front of the league. In 1982, the club just missed promotion to the second division as runner-up in the season Mellersta Norrland behind IFK Östersund . Afterwards you could not build on the success and had to relegate again in 1985.
After Anundsjö IF temporarily slipped into fifth division, the team established itself in the fourth division in the 1990s. In 2000 she was relegated again, but managed to get back up straight away. In 2003 Mellersta Norrland won the relay in Division 3 and two years later he qualified for the newly created Division 1 as fifth in a league reform after successes in the playoffs against Falu BS and IK Sleipner . In the first season, the team occupied a relegation place and had to relegate with Robertsfors IK and Kiruna FF from the northern relay. In the following years the team established itself again in the fourth division.
