Apostolos Georgiou

Apostolos Georgiou (* 1952 in Thessaloniki ) is a Greek painter .

life and work

Georgiou studied architecture at the University of Applied Arts Vienna from 1971 . In 1975 he graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence with a degree in painting. Apostolos Georgiou paints with acrylic on canvas . Its main theme is the existence of man. He focuses on portraying situations that people are trapped in. His pictures reveal a deep feeling of loneliness and alienation, at the same time they show a sense of humor.
