The Applause Riddim is a dancehall - riddim . It was produced by Jamaicans Rohan "Snow cone" Fuller in 2004. He is on the label Jah Snowcone and 2005 Series Riddim Driven label VP Records released. Building on the riddim, the Jamaican Sean Paul produced his worldwide hit Temperature . Many other well-known dancehall artists have sung or toasted songs on the riddim , etc. a. Wayne Wonder , Sizzla and Beenie Man .

The electronically produced riddim begins with a handclap (a clapping sound), which also dominates throughout the song, and the electronically humming melody of a TB-303 . The melody that then starts consists of deep, bass-heavy tones and is accompanied by a bell melody that starts and stops again and again. The track is a changing Has Hi- - rhythm -out and is accompanied by a dull-sounding bass drum that strikes each 4/4-time three times. This flows smoothly into continuous 4/4 stops.
