Apprimus science publisher

The Apprimus Wissenschaftsverlag is a German scientific publisher of trade publications, based in Aachen . It was founded in 2008 as a publishing house for the Institute for Industrial Communication and Specialized Media at RWTH Aachen University . According to the company, the focus of the publishing house's work lies in the transfer of knowledge between research and industry as well as the support of the publication activities within the university environment.

The publisher is a member of the university publishers working group .

Publishing program

Studies, dissertations, research reports, conference proceedings and teaching materials are mainly published in printed and electronic form. Due to a partnership with the WZL machine tool laboratory at RWTH Aachen University and the Fraunhofer IPT , most of the publications can be thematically assigned to production technology , but publications from the natural sciences and humanities as well as interdisciplinary publications are now included in the publishing program.
