The Caribe Bay water amusement park is located on the outskirts of the small Italian town of Jesolo in the province of Venice , directly on the Adriatic Sea . The 80,000 square meter amusement park, which opened in 1989 and has since been expanded and modernized several times, is, according to the operator, the largest amusement park in Italy. The owner of the park is Luciano Pareschi. The amusement park has been voted the best aquapark in Italy several times by "Parksmania". During the season, which runs from June to September, the park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In summer 2019 the park was renamed from Aqualandia to Caribe Bay.

Attractions

The amusement park offers 26 attractions in seven themed areas. These include "Captain Spacemaker", which at 42 meters is currently the highest active water slide in the world. The slide is driven on with a slope of 60 degrees with large inflatable boats for three to four people. From 2014 to 2016, the Crazy system in the Schlitterbahn water park in Kansas City was over 51 meters higher. The facility there was closed due to a fatal accident in 2016.

The large bungee tower of Caribe Bay is the highest fixed bungee tower in Europe with a height of 60 meters . The newly designed “Apocalypse 2012” slide is a starting point for younger children. On the Aztec-style system, five lanes slide next to each other. The “Shark Bay” wave pool comprises a 3,000 square meter pool with 800 tons of white sand from the Caribbean.

The “Funnyland” themed area, which revolves around the world of comics, is reserved for children aged three to 12. The children are looked after by animators, babysitters and educational staff.

For young people and adults there is, among other things, a 20 meter high rope bridge and walls for climbing. Sports activities are possible on two beach volleyball courts, a fitness studio or a human kicker field. There is a 24-hole mini golf course in the adventure golf area. In the "Tiki Arena", which is laid out like a large amphitheater, various shows take place every day - including a large Mayan show and a jungle show.
