Araniko
Araniko or Arniko (* 1244 ; † 1306 ) was a Nepalese architect from Kathmandu who worked in China . His work falls into the time of Kublai Khan . Its most famous building is the White Stupa ( Baita ) of the White Pagoda Temple in Beijing .

In his honor, the highway between Kathmandu and the Chinese border is named Araniko Highway .
