Arata Watanabe ( Japanese 渡 邉 新 太 , Watanabe Arata ; born August 5, 1995 in Niigata , Niigata Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Arata Watanabe learned to play football in the youth team of Albirex Niigata and in the university team of the Ryūtsū Keizai University . From August 2017 to January 2018 he was loaned from the university to his former youth club Albirex Niigata. After the loan ended, he was signed on in 2018. The club from Niigata , a city in the Niigata prefecture of the same name on the island of Honshū , played in the second highest Japanese league, the J2 League .
