Work and service vehicles of the Berlin S-Bahn
The work and service vehicles of the Berlin S-Bahn include a whole range of different vehicles that are used by the S-Bahn Berlin to maintain traffic and structural systems. These are, for example, baggage trains, towing and shunting - railcars - and - locomotives , equipment and transport of personnel and testing features.
In the DB series scheme, the vehicles are classified as series 478; regardless of their design.
