Baden-Württemberg Archeology Prize

The Baden-Württemberg Archeology Prize has been donated by the Wüstenrot Foundation Ludwigsburg since 2000 . From 1982 to 1998 it was advertised by the Württemberg GENO Association of Volksbanks and Raiffeisenbanks.

Announced by the State Office for Monument Preservation in the regional council of Stuttgart, the prize has been awarded every two years since 1998 to volunteer persons or institutions who have made a contribution to regional archeology. Scientific, monument preservation and journalistic achievements are honored.
