The Archaeological Museum Geldersheim is an archaeological museum in the Lower Franconian community of Geldersheim in the district of Schweinfurt . The museum was set up in 2001 in part of the Gaden at the fortified church. His focus is on the representation of the prehistory and early history of the Geldersheim area. Issued findings come from the New Stone Age and in the early medieval .

The reason for the foundation of the museum was an extensive donation from the Geldersheim doctor Hans Hahn, who in his free time collected finds during field inspections and, thanks to his close cooperation with the responsible State Office for Monument Preservation , was able to save many finds from destruction during construction work. The exhibition is supplemented by further loans from collectors in the region. The highlights of the exhibition include an Urnfield Age large vessel and Bronze Age sickles .
