Archie McDiarmid
Archie McDiarmid (actually Archibald McDiarmid; born December 8, 1881 in Balvicar , Argyll and Bute , † August 11, 1957 in Vancouver ) was a Canadian hammer thrower .
At the Olympic Games in 1920 he was ninth in hammer throw and fourth in weight throwing .
In 1930 he was sixth at the British Empire Games in Hamilton .
In 1913 and 1928 he was Canadian champion in hammer throw, and in 1913 in the shot put . He set his personal best of 48.07 m on June 23, 1926 in Vancouver .
