The Archive of International Law (abbreviated AVR or ArchVR ) is a German legal journal for international law founded in 1948 . The first editors Walter Schätzel, Hans Wehberg and Hans-Jürgen Schlochauer pursued the goal of giving international law as “the bridge and the connection to the outside world” a new forum after the time of National Socialism .

The archive of international law is published quarterly by Mohr Siebeck Verlag with a current circulation of 550 copies (2010). The managing editors are Sigrid Boysen , Markus Kotzur and Robert Uerpmann-Wittzack .
