The Archive for Book Printing , mostly titled as Archive for Book Printing and Related Businesses , was a monthly trade journal with topics related to book printing in the second half of the 19th century .
The monthly published in Leipzig by Alexander Waldow appeared in 36 volumes from 1864 to March 1899. The periodical was sometimes accompanied by an advertisement for typography . The book trade's archive was the successor to the trade journal .
One of the editors was the later editor-in-chief of the paper newspaper Albert Hoffmann .
