The place Arco de Baúlhe is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in Portugal and belongs to the district of Cabeceiras de Basto . The community has an area of ​​4.5 km² and 1671 inhabitants live there (as of June 30, 2011). The population density is 372.1 inh / km².

Arco de Baúlhe was the former terminus of the Linha do Tâmega railway line . However, this section was shut down by Amarante in 1990 and, despite attempts to reactivate it, was not put back into operation.

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Arco de Baúlhe and Vila Nune were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Arco de Baúlhe e Vila Nune . Arco de Baúlhe is the seat of this newly formed municipality.
