Titular diocese of Arethusa dei Siri
The diocese Arethusa dei Siri ( Italian Aretusa dei Siri , Latin Arethusa Syrorum ) is a titular bishopric of the Catholic Church , which is given by the Pope to titular bishops of the Syrian Catholic Church united with Rome . It is to be distinguished from the titular diocese of Arethusa .
It goes back to a lost bishop's seat in the ancient city of Arethusa , which was in the Roman province of Syria Coele or Syria .
