Ariel Javier Rosada (born April 11, 1978 in Campana ) is a former Argentine football player .

Ariel Rosada began his career with the Argentine series champion Boca Juniors from Buenos Aires , where he was allowed to play in the first team at the age of 18. After only two years he moved to Europe for the Dutch first division club AZ Alkmaar . After only a year he was drawn back to his home in Argentina - this time to the Chacarita Juniors . He spent four years there (1999 to 2003) before Rosada went to league rival Newell's Old Boys and later to Mexican representative Deportivo Toluca . There he was a regular in defensive midfield.

At the beginning of 2008 Rosada moved to Celta Vigo in the Spanish Segunda División . After initial difficulties, he secured a regular place in the 2008/09 season. After the season he returned to Argentina, where he again joined the Boca Juniors. There he was also part of the tribe in the 2009/10 season before he was no longer considered in early 2010. Rosada moved to league rival CA Banfield , a year later he was hired by Olimpo de Bahía Blanca . After a short detour to Club Villa Dálmine , he couldn't find a new club in early 2013 and soon ended his career.
