Arkadiusz Czartoryski (born April 14, 1966 in Ostrołęka ) is a Polish politician , local politician, since 2005 a member of the Sejm in the V., VI. , VII. And VIII. Electoral term and former State Secretary in the Ministry of Interior and Administration.

Life

In 1991 he finished his history studies with a pedagogical focus at the Catholic University of Lublin . From 1992 to 1997 he worked as a teacher of history and social sciences in the Catholic Lyceum of the Association "Peace and Good" and in the 1st General Lyceum " Józef Bem " in Ostrołęka. From 1997 to 1998 he was the director of the voivodship branch of the Provincial Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People in Ostrołęka. Czartoryski was in the Association of Friends of the V. Zasław Uhlan Regiment (from 1998 to 2002 he was a board member of the association). He was a member of the folk dance group Ostrołęka. From 1998 to 2002 he was mayor of Ostrołęka. In the local elections in 2002 he lost in the second ballot to Ryszard Załuska . From 2004 to 2005 he was Deputy Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship .

He was active in the Zjednoczenie Chrześcijańsko-Narodowe (Christian National Association - ZChN), then he joined the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS). In the 2005 parliamentary elections , he was elected from the PiS list for the Siedlce constituency with 14,753 votes.

On November 2, 2005, he was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of the Interior and Administration. On May 15, 2006, he resigned from this position. On June 25, 2007, Czartoryski became secretary of the PiS faction in the Sejm.

In the 2007 parliamentary elections , he was re-elected to the Sejm from the PiS list with 22,030 votes. He is chairman of the Sejm commission for state control and a member of the commission for internal affairs and administration.

He was awarded the silver medal "For merits in national defense" from the Ministry of Defense, the silver badge "Merits for physical training" and the Order of the Knight's Cross of the Republic of Hungary .
