Armin Feit

Armin Feit (born September 1, 1927 in Essen ; † July 9, 2012 ) was a German lawyer .

Career

After graduating from high school, Armin Feit studied law in Cologne , where he also met his future wife, the judge Erika Feit, geb. Rädler, met. He received his doctorate in 1955 from the Faculty of Law at the University of Cologne and has worked as a lawyer ever since . From 1982 to 1992 he was President of the Taxpayers Association , later Honorary President. As president of the association, he has given important impetus to German financial policy. After his presidency he was chairman of the board of directors of the federal taxpayers of North Rhine-Westphalia for many years . The defense of human dignity, especially against the tax authorities, was a special concern of Armin Feit's professional activity.

In his honorary office, Armin Feit worked as a long-time presbyter of the Evangelical Church of the Redeemer in Essen in the extensive renovation of the church.
