Willy Haubrichs

Wilhelm "Willy" Haubrichs (born October 28, 1911 ; † April 25, 1982 in Saarbrücken ) was a German lawyer and professor for tax law . From 1971 to 1982 he was chairman of the taxpayers' association .

Life

Haubrichs studied law in Heidelberg. During his student days he became a member of the Vineta Heidelberg fraternity . After graduating, he worked as a lawyer.

From 1949/1950 Haubrichs worked as a lecturer in private law and from 1969 as an honorary professor in the law and economics faculty at Saarland University.

As chairman of the Association of Taxpayers, he campaigned primarily for the middle class . He expressed himself in a citizen-friendly and understandable way.
