Armin Frauenschuh

Armin Frauenschuh (* 1973 in Mondsee , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian former dancer and current dance teacher and ballet master.

Life

Frauenschuh was trained at the ballet school of the Salzburg State Theater and at the Hamburg State Opera . He then went to the Dresden Semperoper, where he was appointed soloist by Vladimir Derevianko . He stayed there for thirteen years.

He then moved to Lode Devos at the Chemnitz Opera . There he also directed the ballet school and worked both as a choreographic assistant and as a training director. In Dessau he worked at the Anhaltisches Theater as ballet master and organizer of the company and from 2014 to 2019 he was assistant to ballet director Robert Conn and second ballet master at Theater Augsburg .

In October 2019 Frauenschuh moved to the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company as production manager, dispatcher and tour manager in Frankfurt.

He worked with many well-known choreographers such as John Neumeier , William Forsythe and Uwe Scholz . During his active time he took part in over 50 productions of the classical and contemporary repertoire.
