geography
Fontaine-la-Mallet is about eight kilometers north of Le Havre city center . Fontaine-la-Mallet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Octeville-sur-Mer in the north and west, Montivilliers in the east and Le Havre in the south.
The former route nationale 382 (today's D6382, the airport feeder to Le Havre-Octeville airport) runs through the municipality .
