Saint-Nicolas-de-la-waist is a French commune with 1,572 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Le Havre and the canton of Bolbec (until 2015: canton of Lillebonne ). The inhabitants are called Scolatissiens .

Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Taille is about 26 kilometers east of Le Havre in the Pays de Caux . Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Taille is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Antoine-la-Forêt in the north, Saint-Jean-de-Folleville in the east, Tancarville in the south, La Cerlangue in the west and Mélamare in the northwest.
