Bénouville is a French municipality with 179 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Le Havre and the canton of Octeville-sur-Mer ( Criquetot-l'Esneval until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Hermevillais .

Bénouville is located about 28 kilometers north-northeast of Le Havre on the Atlantic coast to the English Channel . Bénouville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Loges in the east and south-east, Bordeaux-Saint-Clair in the south and Étretat in the west and south-west.
