Alvimare is a commune with 615 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). They are part of the canton of Saint-Valery-en-Caux (until 2015 Fauville-en-Caux ). The inhabitants are called Alvimarais .

Alvimare is located about 42 kilometers east-northeast of Le Havre in the Pays de Caux . Alvimare is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cléville in the north, Écretteville-lès-Baons in the north-east, Allouville-Bellefosse in the south and east, Trouville in the west and south-west and Foucart in the west and north-west.
