Petiville is a French commune with 1,125 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Le Havre and the canton of Notre-Dame-de-Gravenchon (until 2015: canton of Lillebonne ). The inhabitants are called Petivillais .

geography

Petiville is located about 34 kilometers east-southeast of Le Havre in the Pays de Caux and on the Seine , which forms the southern municipal boundary. Petiville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Port-Jérôme-sur-Seine in the north, Saint-Maurice-d'Ételan in the east, Vieux-Port in the south and south-east, Trouville-la-Haule in the south and Saint-Aubin-sur-Quillebeuf in the West.
