It belongs to the arrondissement of Le Havre and the canton of Fécamp (until 2015 Valmont ). The inhabitants are called Thiétrevillais .

Thiétreville is located in the Pays de Caux about 39 kilometers northeast of Le Havre . Thiétreville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Valmont in the north and north-east, Riville in the north-east, Ypreville-Biville in the east and south-east, Daubeuf-Serville in the south and south-west and Thiergeville in the west.
