Cauville-sur-Mer is a French commune with 1,547 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Le Havre and the Canton of Octeville-sur-Mer (until 2015: Canton of Montivilliers ). The inhabitants are called Cauvillais .

Cauville-sur-Mer is located about eleven kilometers north-northeast of Le Havre on the English Channel. Cauville-sur-Mer is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Heuqueville in the north, Saint-Jouin-Bruneval in the north and northeast, Mannevillette in the east, Fontenay in the southeast and Octeville-sur-Mer in the south.
