Le Tilleul is a French community with about 695 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy . It is assigned to the canton of Octeville-sur-Mer (until 2015: canton of Criquetot-l'Esneval ) and the Arrondissement of Le Havre .

geography

Le Tilleul is located about 22 kilometers north-northeast of Le Havre on the Alabaster Coast to the English Channel . Le Tilleul is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Étretat in the north, Bordeaux-Saint-Clair in the east and northeast, Pierrefiques in the east and southeast, Sainte-Marie-au-Bosc in the south and La Poterie-Cap-d'Antifer in the west. Part of the Plage du Tilleul beach belongs to the municipality .
