It belongs to the arrondissement of Le Havre and the canton of Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc (until 2015 Goderville ). The inhabitants are called Bornambuscais .

Tocqueville-les-Murs is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bénarville in the north and west, Ypreville-Biville in the north-east, Trémauville in the east, Hattenville in the south-east, Rouville in the south-west and Saint-Maclou-la-Brière in the south-west.
