Gommerville is located about 20 kilometers east-northeast of Le Havre in the historic province of Pays de Caux . Gommerville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Gilles-de-la-Neuville in the north, Les Trois-Pierres in the east, Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc in the south, Épretot in the west and south-west, Étainhus in the west and Graimbouville in the north-west.

The Le Havre-Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc airfield is located in the south of the municipality.
