Armin Hasenpusch

Armin Hasenpusch (* 1948 ; † November 27, 2014 in Berlin) was a German major general .

In his last assignment from 2008 he succeeded Major General Georg Freiherr von Brandis as Vice President for Military Affairs of the Federal Intelligence Service (BND). He was followed in 2010 by Major General Norbert Stier . Hasenpusch, who began his career as an officer in the tank grenadiers , was commander of the Bundeswehr Intelligence Center (ZNBw) until 2004 and, since the end of 2004, head of the military intelligence and geographic information department in the Federal Ministry of Defense (BMVg).
